Updated 26/05/2021.
We have joined the We're Good to Go scheme run by Visit England. The scheme means that we are, "adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checked that they have the required processes in place."
What is your policy on refunds?
Our usual policy is to refund deposits for cancellations if we have two or more months notice. When we have less than two months notice, we refund deposits if we are able to re-book the holiday. However, in the current situation we are happy to either refund your deposit or hold your deposit for a future holiday (you can either book dates now or contact us later with dates) if you need to cancel your holiday because of Covid-19.
Have you made any changes because of Covid 19?
These plans may change as we take account of any guidance issued by the Government.
We would also ask guests for follow the current Government guidance on social distancing when moving around the site.
As well as our usual thorough clean, appropriate products that are rated to kill enveloped viruses (like Covid-19) are used on upholstery, carpets, hard surfaces and floors, and frequently touched surfaces such as remote controls, lights switches, door and window handles, pull switches, toilet flush buttons, etc. As previously, cleaning cloths are used for one area (kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedrooms) of a caravan in one caravan only before being thrown away or laundered. Mattress and pillow protectors are laundered between customers and duvets and information folders are rotated out of caravans and quarantined for at least 72 hours.
Some items, such as the playing cards, have been removed from the caravans if they are too difficult to sanitise. Do ask if you would like to borrow the cards as we will ensure a quarantine gap is left between use by different customers.
Only one person should use the laundry room at a time. Hand sanitiser, and sanitising wipes for high touch areas, will be provided for staff and guest use in the laundry room. I'm afraid the usual tourist information display stands, and books and toys that can usually be borrowed from the laundry room will not be available. Tourist information is provided in envelopes in the laundry room; you are asked to take a whole pack away and dispose of any leaflets you do not need in the green recycle bin.
Please can parents monitor children playing on the outdoor play equipment to ensure social distancing guidelines are followed. Children should wash their hand before and after use.
We also encourage the use of contactless payment methods such as bank transfers and PayPal for holiday balance payments that are due on arrival.
